Upon completion of hisinternal medicine training he completed a residency in Dermatologyat the University of California at Los Angeles. He is boardcertified by the American Academy of Dermatology and is one of asmall group of specialists with board certification in twospecialties. Dr. Kaufman was invited to complete a fellowship inMohs Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Surgery at theUniversity of California at San Francisco under the direction ofDrs. Roy Grekin and Richard Glogau.Dr. Kaufman is the Medical Director of The Center forDermatology Care in Thousand Oaks, California, and is ClinicalAssociate Professor of Medicine (Dermatology) at the David GeffenSchool of Medicine at UCLA. He is a fellow of the American Collegeof Mohs Surgery and was elected to the Board of Directors of thatprestigious organization. Dr. Kaufman was also nominated andelected as a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, an honorreserved for physicians dedicated to ongoing individual service andcontributions to the practice of medicine.
